TYPICAL WINES

Among the most famous and renowned wines of this pleasant area we can mention: the Amarone, the Custoza, the Bardolino, the Passito, the Merlot, the Cabernet, the Savignon, the Tocai, the Chardonnay, the Garganega.

The white wine “Bianco di Custoza” reflects in its pastel yellow colour a very much appreciated greenish-golden shade. It matches with a lot of dishes and in different situations, at lunch or as aperitif. Moreover, due to its slightly aromatic and fruit flavoured taste, it is ideal as a dessert wine.

The Bardolino is very much appreciated abroad for its pleasant and delicious flavour which is favoured by the mild weather, the sun exposure, the balance between the rains and the temperature, the variety of soils. The most important varieties of vines used to produce the Bardolino are: Corvina (35-65%), Rondinella (10-40%), Molinara (10-20%) and Negrara ( till 10% ) grapes.
